Today I made a quick visit to the Yarraville market. Although much smaller than I had expected, it was buzzing! There were some really fabulous stalls, I especially liked Greenscape, Moon Mum's beautiful dresses and the lightboxes (I didn't catch the name of her business, but they were really great lightboxes). All very impressive! Although I make them myself, I couldn't help myself and bought my son a really cute bib. It sports a handlebar moustache and is nothing at all like the ones I make (which justifies the purchase of course).
Once home I twice washed and hung out to dry over 30 meters of fabric. I discovered that hanging out a whole bolt of heavy wet fabric is great for making one feel completely uncoordinated and a bit silly.

- I sew, design and create whilst also being a loving mother of one beautiful son. Like thousands of other women, my nesting instinct led me to a sewing machine and I haven't stopped since. I adore all fabric, but try to only buy organics. I simply can't resist a good Japanese linen though, so I do make an exception on organics sometimes!!
